Overview

Commercial Intelligence (“we”, “us”, “our”) builds software that helps founders and operators turn professional relationships into revenue. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect when you use our platform, how we use it, and the choices you have. We design our product so that the contacts and commercial intelligence you capture remain yours.

Data We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to deliver the Commercial Intelligence experience:

• Account data — the email address and authentication details you provide when you sign in.
• Captured contacts — information you submit, such as business card scans, pasted signatures, LinkedIn URLs, or website URLs, along with the enriched commercial intelligence we generate from public sources for those contacts.
• Usage data — anonymized product analytics (events, feature usage, performance) used to improve the product.

Zero Training Leakage Policy

Your proprietary contact data is your competitive advantage. We do not use your captured contacts, enriched profiles, outreach drafts, or any private relationship data to train public or third-party AI models. Enrichment and intelligence are generated per-request for your account and are not contributed back to shared training corpora.

Where we rely on third-party AI providers to power enrichment, those providers process your requests under terms that prohibit using your inputs to improve their general models. Your data is treated as confidential operator intelligence, not as training material.

Data Security

We protect your data with industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, scoped database access enforced through row-level security policies, and separation between authenticated user sessions and privileged administrative access. Access to production data is tightly restricted and audited.

We never store payment card numbers on our servers. Billing is handled by our payment provider under its own PCI-compliant infrastructure.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Commercial Intelligence platform.
• To generate commercial intelligence and outreach recommendations for the contacts you capture.
• To secure the platform and prevent unauthorized access or abuse.
• To communicate with you about your account, support requests, and material product changes.

Data Retention

We retain your account and captured contact data for as long as your account is active. When you delete a contact or your account, we remove the associated data from active systems within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, security, or accounting purposes.

Your Rights

You can, at any time:

• Access the contacts and data stored in your account.
• Export your captured contacts and enriched intelligence.
• Correct inaccurate information associated with your account.
• Delete individual contacts or request full account deletion.
• Withdraw consent for optional data processing where applicable.

Sharing and Subprocessors

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the subprocessors needed to operate the platform — such as cloud hosting, authentication, email delivery, and AI enrichment providers — each under contractual obligations to protect your data and limit its use. A list of key subprocessors is available on request.

International Transfers

Your data may be processed in regions other than your own as part of normal cloud operations. Where this involves a transfer of personal data, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses to ensure protection consistent with this policy.

Children's Privacy

Commercial Intelligence is a business tool and is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our product evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you within the product or by email.
